Fake GPS location‏ Teleport your phone anywhere in the world with two clicks! This app sets fake GPS locations so all other apps on your phone think you are there!

 

It has support for Tasker and can be started/stopped from the command line (see FAQ for details)

Please note that after using FakeGPS you may find your LOCATION BLOCKED IN THE LAST LOCATION FUNNY EVENT AFTER UNINSTALLING FakeGPS!

 

It is not a bug and your GPS sensor is not broken. There are two ways to solve this problem:

1. Install "GPS Status" from Play, launch it and get a new GPS location. You may need to repeat it several times 30 minutes apart.

2. Start FakeGPS, set your actual location, and leave it like that for several hours.

You can combine these steps. The problem will go away in a day or two, please be patient.

 

For ROOTED devices, you can simulate locations without enabling the "Allow mock locations" option. To do this, use Root Explorer or another similar application and move /data/app/ru.lexa.fakegps~1.apk to / system / priv-app or / system/app (for Android 4.3 and earlier versions). Then change the permissions from apk to rw-r-r and reboot your device. If you find that apk in / syste / priv-app disappears after reboot, it means your devices have S-ON mode enabled and thus restore / system folder after every reboot. Google how to switch your device to S-OFF mode.

 

If you can't find ru.lexa.fakegps.apk in / data/app, you can find it in /mnt/asec/ru.lexa.fakegps/1.apk. In this case, you need to copy it and rename it to /system/priv-app/ru.lexa.fakegps.apk.
