The 4-Hour Workweek Book By Tim Ferriss (PDF-Summary-Review-Online Reading-Download)

The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape the 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich (2007) is a self-help book by Timothy Ferriss, an American writer, educational activist, and entrepreneur. The book has spent more than four years on the New York Times bestseller list, has been translated into 40 languages, and has sold more than 2.1 million copies worldwide. It's about what Ferriss calls "lifestyle design" and repudiates the traditional "deferred" living plan in which people work strenuous hours and take few vacations for decades and save money to relax after retirement.

Ferriss developed the ideas in The 4-Hour Workweek (4HWW) while working 14 hours a day at his sports nutrition supplement company, BrainQUICKEN. Frustrated with overwork and lack of free time, Ferriss took a 3-week sabbatical in Europe. During that time and his ongoing travels across Europe, Asia, and South America, Ferriss developed a simplified system for checking email once a day and outsourcing small daily tasks to virtual assistants. His personal escape from a workaholic lifestyle was the genesis of the book.

The format of The 4-Hour Workweek took shape during a series of lectures Ferriss gave on high-tech entrepreneurship at Princeton University, his alma mater. The lectures (and the book) described Ferriss' own experiences in business automation and lifestyle development.

The 4-hour workweek is a new way to solve a very old problem: how can we work for a living and avoid our lives being exclusively focused on work? A world of endless options awaits those who read this book and are inspired by it!
