Outriders is an online-only cooperative action third-person role-playing video game developed by People Can Fly and published by the European subsidiary of Square Enix. It was released on April 1, 2021, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Stadia. The game received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for the gameplay, customization, and visuals, but criticism for the story and characters.

How To Play

Outriders is a third-person shooter mixed with RPG elements. At the start of the game, players create their custom characters and choose from four classes, each with unique abilities that players can use. The four classes include the Trickster, who has the ability to manipulate time, the Pyromancer, who can manipulate fire, the Devastator, who can unleash seismic attacks, and the Technomancer, who uses turrets and other gadgets. These special abilities have a short cooldown and can be combined with other abilities for maximum effect. The game features a skill tree that allows players to unlock and upgrade their skills.

Notes

1. “Edit Class Points”: Takes effect when opening menu. If you activate this option while in the menu, you’ll need to close and re-open the menu in order to change class points.
2. “Infinite World Tier Exp”: Takes effect when killing enemies. Note you may need to finish the battle or mission in order to level up the world tier.
3. “Infinite Resources”, “Infinite Shards”: Only works for resources & shards you already owned.
