What does AMCouncil's Global Certification Scheme mean?

In a dynamic and cutthroat professional environment like the one you work in, it could be difficult to differentiate yourself from the other employees. You want to demonstrate your professionalism, qualification, and dedication not just to your employer but also to other people in the industry and to yourself. It is not an easy undertaking. Right now is the perfect time to launch the global certification program.

There are many different ways in which obtaining a certification in asset management or a global certification can assist you in moving forward in your professional career. It demonstrates that you are serious about certified asset management as well as providing you with a credential that is recognized both nationally and internationally.

The asset management certification system offers the global community of asset managers a variety of significant advantages that are of great importance.

Along your professional asset management journey, you will find that having your knowledge, abilities, and expertise in asset management recognized against a global standard offers a variety of benefits that are both vast and extensive.

The following are the primary advantages that come with obtaining global certification for individuals:

  • Recognition on a global scale for your asset management expertise, talents, and experience, which you have attained through a variety of means.
  • Increased possibilities for employment
  • Develops your network by participating in activities and events hosted by your local Society.
  • Adaptable to a variety of fields and positions in the workforce
  • Offers a straightforward route to improved income potential as well as career progression opportunities
  • Recognizability that can be transferred between sectors and countries on a global scale

Within the framework of the Global Certification Scheme, a person has the potential to earn one of three different designation levels.

  • Certified Senior Principal in Asset Management (CSAM)
  • Certified Practitioner in Asset Management (CPAM)
  • Certified Technical Specialist in Asset Management (CTAM)

What Kind of Alignment Does the Global Certification Scheme Have?

Only the CPAM, CTSM, and CSAM titles will have their AMCouncil certification schemes linked to the WPiAM Global Certification Scheme (GCS). Your CPAM, CTSM, and CSAM certifications now have a higher market worth and are recognized in every country in the globe thanks to this development.

How Do I Apply For GCS?

No more action is required from individuals who already possess the CPAM, CTSM, and CSAM credentials. Since you earned your CPAM, CTSM, or CSAM certification under the AMCouncil Certification scheme, it will be immediately recognized as an Asset Management Certification/Global Certification upon completion of the program.

My CPAM, CTSM, And CSAM Certifications Are Aligned To The Global Certification Scheme;

How Do I Get A Certificate To Prove It?

Yes! The AMCouncil will give a certificate to you when it is time to renew your CPAM, CTSM, or CSAM certificate. This certificate will have the logo of the Global Certification Scheme on it. Your present CPAM, CTSM, or CSAM certificate that was issued with the AM Council logo on it will be immediately recognized as part of the Global Certification system for the designations of CPAM, CTSM, and CSAM. This recognition will take place in the interim.

The Procedures To Be Followed In Order To Renew Global Certification

The validity period for certificates is three years. You have the option of applying for recertification either six months before the expiration date or up to three years after the date of expiration. Following the date of expiration of the initial certificate, the validity of the recertification will extend for an additional three years.

To submit your application for certification renewal, either click here or go to our website, log in, and then select the "Certification" option. You will be able to view a list of all of the accreditations you have obtained from the Asset Management Council in this section. If your certificate is about to expire or has expired within the past three years, you will have the option to select "Renew," which will prompt you to confirm the number of CPD points earned since your most recent application for accreditation. If your certificate is about to expire or has expired within the last three years, you will have this option.

Because of this, keeping track of your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points is extremely crucial. An online log, which can be accessed and read at this location, is available to each and every one of our members. It has been brought to our attention that the points you have accumulated for attending Asset Management Council events will be automatically listed in your record. You also have the opportunity to manually enter any additional Continuing Professional Development points that you have collected from events that were not hosted by the Asset Management Council.

After you have submitted an application to 'Renew,' you will receive an invoice if the amount of CPD points you have earned is sufficient to satisfy the criteria. After you have paid the invoice, you will be able to download your most recent certificate from the website.
