To download the Windows 10 Installation Media Tool, visit Microsoft.com and scroll down until you see two buttons of the Download Tool now.

The Windows Media creation tool will allow you to download the Windows 10 ISO directly from Microsoft, without having a product key. You can use it to clean the installation or upgrade to Windows 10. It can be used to download the following editions of Windows 10: Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Home N, Windows 10 Home Single Language, Windows 10 Pro and Windows Pro N.

The tool includes optimized file formats for download speed, integrated media creation options for USB and DVD, and allows for optional conversion to ISO file format. There are two versions of the tool available: a 32-bit version and a 64-bit version. Download the appropriate version of the tool and run it.

When you run the tool, create two directories in your system partition: $ WINDOWS. ~ BT and $ Windows. ~ WS. These folders contain the installation and installation files downloaded, and an option to resume the creation process if it fails.

When you click on it to run the tool, you will see the following screen asking if you want to Upgrade this PC now or Create installation media for another PC.

Using the tool to update this PC to Windows 10

You have a license to install Windows 10 and you are updating this PC from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1.
You need to reinstall Windows 10 on a PC that has already successfully activated Windows 10.
Note: Before installing Windows 10, verify that your PC meets the system requirements for Windows 10. We also recommend that you go to the PC manufacturer's website for additional information on updated drivers and hardware compatibility.

Use the tool to create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD or ISO file) to install Windows 10 on a different PC

Follow these steps to create an installation medium (USB flash drive or DVD) that you can use to install a new copy of Windows 10, perform a clean installation, or reinstall Windows 10. Before downloading the tool, make sure you have:

An Internet connection (Internet service provider fees may apply).
Sufficient data storage available on a computer, USB or external drive for download.
A blank USB flash drive with at least 5 GB of blank space or DVD (and DVD burner) if you want to create media. We recommend the use of a blank USB or a blank DVD because it will remove any content from it.
When you burn a DVD of an ISO file, if you are told that the disc image file is too large, you will need to use a double layer DVD (DL) media.

Check some things on the PC where you want to install Windows 10:

64-bit or 32-bit processor (CPU). It will create a 64-bit or 32-bit version of Windows 10. To check this on your PC, go to PC Information in the PC or System configuration in the Control Panel and look for the type of System.
System Requirements. Make sure the PC meets the system requirements for Windows 10. We also recommend going to the PC manufacturer's website for additional information on updated drivers and hardware compatibility.
Language in Windows. You will have to choose the same language when you install Windows 10. To see what language you are currently using, go to Time and language in PC Settings or Region in the Control Panel.
Windows edition. You should also choose the same edition of Windows. To verify which edition you are currently running, go to the PC information in the PC or System settings in the Control Panel and look for the Windows edition. Windows 10 Enterprise is not available in the media creation tool. For more information, go to the Volume Licensing Service Center.
Microsoft Office products. If you have just purchased a new device that includes Office 365, we recommend that you redeem (install) Office before upgrading to Windows 10.
