First published during the Great Depression, the book had sold more than 20 million copies at the time of Hill's death in 1970. In 2015, more than 100 million copies had been sold worldwide.

Summary
Think and Grow Rich has been called the "Grandfather of all motivational literature". It was the first book to boldly ask: "What makes a winner?" The man who asked and heard the answer, Napoleon Hill, is now among the world's first winners.
The most famous successful teacher of all spent "a fortune and most of a lifetime of effort" to produce the philosophy of the "Law of Success" that forms the basis of his books and is so powerfully summed up in this.

In the original Think and Grow Rich, published in 1937, Hill draws on stories by Andrew Carnegie, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and other millionaires of his generation to illustrate his principles. In the updated version, Arthur R. Pell, Ph.D., author, lecturer, and consultant in human resources management known nationally and expert in applying Hill's thinking, skillfully intertwines anecdotes of how contemporary millionaires and billionaires, such as Bill Gates, Mary Kay Ash, Dave Thomas, and Sir John Templeton, achieved their wealth. The terminology and outdated or arcane examples are faithfully updated to avoid any obstacle for a new generation of readers.

Review
This is one of the most influential books of all time when it comes to achieving financial independence and self-development.

Napoleon Hill wrote this masterpiece with the help of some super-achievers of his time. Andrew Carnegie, one of the richest Americans in history along with some other notable billionaires share their ideas about personal achievements. He also reflects on how they acquired gigantic wealth and became successful.

This book focuses more on self-development. How we should use our mind and internal resources to become much more than what can be measured with money. It's more about how we can develop internally to achieve success and wealth. How our daily thoughts and actions make us who we are. And how can we apply the philosophy of the great achievers and eliminate mental obstructions to acquire wealth?
