The Book of Enoch (PDF-Summary-Review-Online Reading-Download)

The Book of Enoch (also 1 Enoch; Ge'ez: መጽሐፈ ሄኖክ, maṣḥafa hēnok) is an ancient Hebrew apocalyptic religious text, traditionally attributed to Enoch, Noah's great-grandfather. Enoch contains unique material on the origins of demons and Nephilim, why some angels fell from heaven, an explanation of why the Genesis flood was a morally necessary, and prophetic exposition of the thousand-year reign of the Messiah.

The oldest sections (mainly in the Book of Watchers) of the text are estimated to date from around 300 to 200 BC. C., and the last part (Book of parables) is probably from 100 a.

Various Aramaic fragments found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, as well as Greek and Koine Latin fragments, are evidence that the Book of Enoch was known to the Jews and early Christians of the Near East. This book was also cited by some 1st and 2nd-century authors as in the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs. The New Testament authors were also familiar with some of the content of the story. A brief section of 1 Enoch (1:9) is quoted in the New Testament Epistle of Jude, Jude 1:14-15, and is attributed there to "Enoch the seventh from Adam" (1 Enoch 60:8), although this section of 1 Enoch is a midrash on Deuteronomy 33:2. Several copies of earlier sections of 1 Enoch were preserved among the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Why is The Book of Enoch Not in The Bible

It is not part of the Biblical canon used by Jews apart from Beta Israel (Ethiopian Jews). While the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and the Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church consider the Book of Enoch canonical, other Christian groups consider it non-canonical or uninspired but may accept that it has some historical or theological interest.

Why is the book of Enoch removed from the Bible?

Some believe that the main reason for the suppression and ban lies in the detailed accounts of fallen angels, including their lust and destruction of human women. Others believe that the founders of the Church found the book uninspired.

Why stay away from the book of Enoch?

There is no need to turn away from this Book of Enoch. It includes the war in heaven, Eschatology, the eschatological Messiah(s), and the resurrection. The writings of the 2nd and 3rd centuries BC. C. established the basis for later significant ideas. Just like the Spirit World is with an evil spirit with a leader. They may not be revolutionary, but at the time they were. That shows how important they were.

It is believed that the Judaism that Jesus practiced was an outgrowth of the times and is not a reflection of the Judaisms of the Hebrew times hundreds of years earlier.

The fact that the experts of the time did not incorporate it into the Biblical Canon does not mean that you cannot take a look at it. If you are interested in the manuscript, you should review it. It is possible to be aware that Jesus was aware of this book and read it following The Urantia Book. That was during the first year of his life, around 15 years old.
