The book was released on May 2, 2017, along with the coloring book A Court of Thorns and Roses. This book is the final book from Feyre's point of view. Sarah J. Maas has more books planned for the series, however, these books will not feature Feyre as the main lead.

Summary

Feyre has returned to Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin's actions and learn what she can about the invading king who threatens to bring her land to its knees. But to do so, she must play a deadly game of deception. One slip could spell doom not just for Feyre but for everything, and everyone, she holds dear.

As war engulfs them all, Feyre strives to take her place among the High Fae of the land, balancing her struggle to master her powers, both magical and political, and her love for him. his court, and her family. In the midst of these struggles, Feyre and Rhysand must decide who to trust among the cunning and deadly High Lords and seek allies in unexpected places.

In this thrilling third book in Sarah J. Maas' #1 New York Times bestselling series, the fate of Feyre's world hangs in the balance as armies battle for power over the one thing that could destroy it.

Review

Some alliances remain dangerous (recruiting monsters to fight monsters is always a risky proposition) and double agents abound. The supporting characters' romantic stories are interwoven with strategy and even warfare, blending the expanded world with extended action sequences and character reveals, and the ramifications of the conclusion will be felt in future installments.
