FF DIN Font is an industrial or “grotesque” style sans-serif typeface. It was designed in 1995 by Albert-Jan Pool, based on DIN-Mittelschrift and DIN-Engschrift, as defined in the German standard DIN 1451. DIN is an acronym for Deutsches Institut für Normung (German Institute for Standardization). It was published by FontShop in their FontFont font library.

FF DIN has a no-frills look with a height x-height and a large series of weights. It became very popular – as of September 2017, it was still the best-selling typeface on MyFonts.

FF DIN Font Uses

This is a widely used font. The New York City Ballet used this font in its logo. The Verge (which is an American tech news website operated by Vox Media) also used it as their web source. The Wolf of Wall Street is a 2013 American biographical black comedy crime film that has also used FF DIN to make its poster. So if someone talks about the field of use of this font, I would say that you can use this font in all cases.
