Super Smash Bros is a crossover fighting game series published by Nintendo, primarily featuring characters from established franchises on their systems, including Mario, Fox McCloud, Link, Kirby, Samus Aran, and Pikachu. So far there are five games released with the first game released in 1999 for the Nintendo 64.

The above is the North American box art from the first installment in the series. The logo features two sans serif fonts, namely Bodega Sans and Kabel, with the “SMASH” in Kabel Bold and the “SUPER BROS” in Bodega Sans Light Old Styles. From the second game in the series, the game started using a serif font for its logo. There is a fan-made font called Super Smash available for you to recreate the logo. You can download the free font here.

Smash Bros Font is a family of sans-serif logo fonts with a contemporary and luxurious look. The word “Smash” is designed with Kabel Bold and the word “Super Bros” is designed with Bodega Sans Light.

How to install Super Smash Bros Font on Windows

  1. Download the font files.
  2. Right-click the font, and click Install.image
  3. Your new fonts will appear in the fonts list in Word.

How to install Super Smash Bros Font on Mac

After downloading a font, let’s say Freight Sans font. It came in a zip format. Just double-click on the file and it will unzip immediately. The fonts basically come with .ttf (TrueType Font) or.OTF (OpenType Font) format.

  1. Click on the font files. It will open like the picture below.image
  2. Click the Install button down on the right corner. It is marked in the picture below.image

Your font is now installed.

How to install Super Smash Bros Font on Linux?

Copy the font files (.ttf or .otf) to fonts:// in the File Manager.
Or: Go into the /home folder, in the menu select View > Show Hidden Files, you will see the hidden folder .fonts (if not, create it) then copy the font files there.
Or: (under some Linux versions – Ubuntu for example) Double-click the font file > “Install font” button in the preview window.
