Cyberpunk RED is the newest pencil and paper RPG from R. Talsorian Games released on August 1, 2019. It is intended to be the latest edition of the Cyberpunk RPG to coincide with the launch of the Cyberpunk 2077 video game and to bridge the gap. of time. between the two games.
Very little information was released for the game in 2018, other than that it would use the Interlock system. Later in 2020, they released a weekly update on the game that talked about some of the systems before its launch.
In June 2018, RTG reached out to the Cyberpunk community for their thoughts on potential artists to illustrate the next issue. On November 14, 2020, the digital version of the basic rulebook was released.

Cyberpunk RED Summary
The fourth edition of Cyberpunk, titled Cyberpunk Red, is set in 2045, following the events of Cyberpunk 2020 and serving as a prequel to the Cyberpunk 2077 video game. The game is set after a fourth Corporate War; however, the events differ from Cyberpunk V3.0, which is considered a separate timeline.
The Cyberpunk Red Core Rulebook was released in November 2020. It was preceded by the release of a simplified boxed set, known as the Cyberpunk Red Jumpstart Kit, at Gen Con in August 2019. The Core Rulebook was delayed from a planned release in conjunction with the Jumpstart Kit, initially to allow the Cyberpunk Red game lore to better align with Cyberpunk 2077, and later due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cyberpunk Red is the latest edition of the classic Cyberpunk tabletop role-playing game. This basic rulebook is everything you need to play. Each character role has a unique and expansive special ability and the Lifepath system means that each player character has their own unique and developed background. Combat is forever, with deadly firearms and melee weapons, powerful martial arts, and a visceral critical injury system. Cyberpunk Red is compatible with a variety of accessories, including miniatures and dice. All content is canon with the original Cyberpunk 2020 and CD Projekt Red’s highly anticipated video game Cyberpunk 2077.
