Shatter Me Series in Order
The Shatter Me book series collection consists of 11 titles.
These books include two novel trilogies and five independent novellas. Since all titles follow the same naming pattern and all books have similar covers, the reading order may be a little confusing for some readers. Fortunately, author Tahereh Mafi published all the books chronologically, so there are no jumps in time to add to the confusion.
The novels are told from a different point of view and are not relevant to the progression of the story, so you can skip them if you wish. The covers feature a closed eye instead of an open one, which can help you distinguish them from novels.
Shatter Me (2011)
Juliette Ferrars finds herself in a place few 17-year-olds expect to be – prison. And for murder, no less. Juliette wields an extraordinary power: her touch is lethal. After everything they’ve been through to take down the Reestablishment, Juliette, and Warner deserve a happy ending. But is that happy ending nothing but a pipe dream?
Shatter Me Summary
Juliette hasn’t touched anyone in exactly 264 days. The last time she did it, it was an accident, but the Reset locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal. As long as she doesn’t hurt anyone else, no one cares. The world is too busy falling apart to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are wiping out the population, food is hard to find, birds don’t fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.
The Reestablishment said that her way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war, and the Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than just a tortured soul in a poisonous body. Maybe she is exactly what they need right now.
Juliette has a choice to make: be a weapon. Or be a warrior.
