Princes of the Apocalypse is an adventure module for the fifth edition of the fantasy role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons.
Called to serve by the Ancient Elemental Eye, four corrupted prophets have risen from the depths of anonymity to claim powerful weapons with direct ties to the power of the elemental princes. Each of these prophets has assembled a group of cultists and creatures to serve them in the construction of four elemental temples of lethal design. It is up to adventurers from heroic factions like the Emerald Enclave and the Order of the Gauntlet to discover where each prophet’s true power lies and dismantle it before he boils down to destroy the Realms.

Princes of the Apocalypse Summary
Throughout northern Faerûn, four different elemental cults have caused natural disasters through the use of orbs of devastation. Secretly, the sects have united to unleash an unknown catastrophic force. These cults are dedicated to the Princes of Elemental Evil and serve the Greater Elemental Eye. Each cult is led by a prophet:
The air cult, the Cult of Howling Hatred, is led by the elven princess Aerisi Kalinoth.
The cult of Earth, Cult of the Black Earth, is led by the male Medusa Marlos Urnrayle.
The fire cult, Cult of the Eternal Flame, is led by the tiefling Vanifer.
The water cult, Cult of the Crushing Wave, is led by the sailor Gar Shatterkeel.
This campaign takes characters from level 1 to level 15 as adventurers fight elemental cults across the North and work to uncover their true agenda. It is set in the Forgotten Realms in the year 1491 DR.
